Piano lessons during Covid-19
At Perfect Pitch Piano Studio, we are committed to providing piano lessons in a safe and clean environment to minimize the spread of Covid-19. Given the current situation, we have modified our teaching space and introduced a number of new safety procedures to ensure the safety of our students and families.

Outdoor Piano Class
One of the biggest changes we are pleased to offer is outdoor piano classes on the patio. This allows us to maintain social distance and ensure an open clean airflow which is optimal for minimizing contact with Covid-19. Further, private classes will be conducted with the teacher inside and the student outside on the patio so there is minimal physical contact.
Indoor Piano Class
During the colder months, we will be moving classes indoors where the student and teacher will be in different rooms. There will be a glass door between the student and teacher during the entire class, however, this will not obstruct the view or sound from either side. The rooms will be well-ventilated with windows open on both sides.
​Online Piano Classes
We are also offering online classes using a variety of platforms (Google Hangouts, Whatsapp, and Facetime) to conduct classes with two cameras. One camera with a view above the keys and the other camera with a side view. See a sample of an online class.
Additional Safety Measures
In addition to the different class modes, we will be following these safety procedures.

Each student will be required to wash hands before touching the keys

The keys will be cleaned with disinfectant agent in between students

Masks will be worn by the teacher and student

All teachers are vaccinated against Covid

Minimum 2 meter spacing between other students in group class
